Core are celebrating 25 years of transforming businesses through technology
Core was founded in 1990 to provide Microsoft Infrastructure and Development skills to the Winterthur Group of Companies. The successful provision of technical skills to the group saw Core become one of the leading authorities on Microsoft technologies to the financial services industries in the City of London.
In 2001 the management team at Core completed a management buyout and the company became a Microsoft SharePoint specialist, delivering the UK’s first SharePoint solution. Since then, Core has become the leading SharePoint solutions provider with customers ranging from financial companies to government departments.
Core have made a number of strategic acquisitions over the years, including infrastructure, System Center and Dynamics CRM practices, making Core a single source for Microsoft’s on premise and online services which Microsoft has hailed as virtually unique. Today Core is a successful, respected and growing Microsoft platform partner with offices in London, Harwell and Manchester and over 100 employees.
