Talbot Underwriting is one of the leading insurance and reinsurance specialists, operating within the Lloyd’s Insurance Market.

After carrying out an overhaul of its business workflow and bringing in business process management systems from several suppliers, Talbot Underwriting felt that the systems did not integrate fully.

Communication was difficult, the systems were not very responsive and the interface was not user-friendly.

With issues of system integration and internal communication, it was felt that a solution using Microsoft SharePoint to integrate the systems and streamline the communication across departments would be the answer.

Our highly-skilled SharePoint team offered the right expertise at the right time, fully supporting Talbot’s in-house developers and allowing them to develop the expertise to support the solution in-house, going forward.

The interface is more user-friendly, and has proved popular with end users. Through knowledge-sharing and training, the in-house team now have the skills and expertise needed to run the environment, which is a huge improvement.
