We have one of the UK’s longest standing SharePoint teams, helping businesses implement collaborative working and information management processes. We have some of the UK’s best CRM expertise headed up by David Jennaway, the first of just six recognised ‘Most Valued Professionals’ in CRM technology. Our cloud and infrastructure team has a strong consulting background across many industries and its speciality lies in creating operational efficiency in IT infrastructure using Microsoft platforms and our own proprietary solution ‘Aurora’.

 Some key milestones

  • 2014 Core acquires a Microsoft Gold CRM practice and becomes a platform partner in the UKopen/close
    Acquisition of Excitation in 2014 made Core a platform partner in the UK and rounded out its full cloud offering by providing CRM both on premise and online. This makes Core a single source for Microsoft’s on premise and online services which Microsoft has hailed as virtually unique.
  • 2013 Core acquires Parative and win ‘Best Frequency and Yield Award’ open/close
    Acquisition of Parative, a Gold Partner specialising in IT infrastructure migrations strengthened Core’s cloud offering and consolidated its position as one of the UK's leading practices for Office 365 consultancy, migration and support. The acquisition doubled Core’s Office 365 capacity as well as increasing its specialist in-house skills in Windows Azure and Unified Communications. During the same year Core became members of Windows Azure Partner Programme
  • 2012 Core acquires System Centric Consultingopen/close
    During 2012 Cloud was recognised as the way forward for Government. During this year, Core was accepted onto G-Cloud Register to supply Cloud services to the Public Sector. In the same year Core acquired System Centric Consulting as part of its plan to grow its System Center practice setting the corner stone for what would become Core’s Managed Services practice.
  • 2011 Core awarded Cloud Accelerate Status and its fourth Gold Competencyopen/close
    This was the official release year for Office 365 and Core was awarded Cloud Accelerate Status as well as Gold Competencies in Content Management, Portals and Collaboration
  • 2010 Core awarded Gold Competency in Digital Marketingopen/close
    Microsoft released a new version of SharePoint and Core was launch partner for Office 365. In this year Core was named top provider of SharePoint Intranets.
  • 2009 Core is launch partner for BPOS, the precursor to Office 365open/close
    Core becomes one of the first partners to deliver BPOS solutions, the precursor to Office 365
  • 2008 Core achieves Microsoft SharePoint Deployment Planning Certificationopen/close
    In the same year SharePoint was identified by Gartner as a 'leading' technology in one of its four 'Magic Quadrant' reports.
  • 2007 Core voted winner of the Microsoft SharePoint Search Partner Awardopen/close
    Microsoft release SharePoint Office SharePoint Server 2007
  • 2003 Microsoft release SharePoint Portal Serveropen/close
    As Microsoft have released new versions Core has kept pace building expertise in the team and delivering ever more complex solutions utilising the Microsoft platform and Core’s own IP.
  • 2002 Core management buyoutopen/close
    In January 2002 Conor and Eamon completed a management buyout from the Credit Suisse Group, who by then owned Winterthur, and began building Core’s reputation for excellence outside the Winterthur Group of Companies.
  • 2001 Core delivers UK's first ever SharePoint solutionopen/close
    In 2001 SharePoint was launched and Core delivered the UK’s first ever solution beginning its long history of expertise in this area.
  • 1990 Core established by Winterthur Groupopen/close
    Core was established to provide Microsoft Infrastructure and development skills to Winterthur Group of Companies.
